If Arsenal win, it would put them within touching distance of the title. The Emirates will likely become a party arena as this will be the first time Arsenal will be crowned the Premier League champions since leaving Highbury. This will also be a psychological boost for the Champions League final vs PSG on May 30, which would be massive. Players walk into that final as champions, not challengers.
On the other hand, if Arsenal drop points, the title goes to the final day, and City know a win vs Aston Villa on May 24 would put the pressure right back on Arsenal at Palace. Doubt may begin to creep in. After 22 years without a title, another stumble at the last hurdle would be brutal for the players.
